FEP Pellet

Product Description

FEP is the copolymer of tetrafluoroethylene (TFE) and hexafluoropropylene (HFP). With good thermal stability, prominent chemical inertness, desirable electrical insulation, and low friction coefficient, it can be processed with thermoforming technique. Grades are classified by different melting flow rate (MFR).

Application:

SF-211: used as insulation for small-gauge high temperature wire or jacketing for small-gauge data and telecommunications cables

SF-212used as insulation or jacketing for high temperature wire & most-gauge data and telecommunications cables, corrosive-resistant tube or pipe.

SF-213used for insulation and sheath of high-temperature wire and cable. It can also be used for large specification data, sheath of communication wire, insulation, pipe and film resistant to high temperature and corrosion.

SF-214 used as liner for valve, pump and tube.

Physical and chemical properties:

The molecular weight of FEP is 200000-600000, MFR (372 , 5kg) is 0.8-32g/10min, melting point is 250-275 . FEP has excellent mechanical and electrical properties. The oxygen content required for continuous combustion is 95 vol%, and it has good chemical resistance.

Packaging, Storage & transportation:

1 packed in PE plastic bag then put in hard carton barrel, Net weight of each package is (25±0.2).

2 The product should be stored in a clean, cool and dry place to prevent rain, sun, moisture, dust and other impurities from mixing.

3.Nontoxic, noninflammable, inexplosive, non-corrosion, transported as non-dangerous products.
